Our Seasons of Life
What are the seasons of my life?
spring and summertime,
autumn and winter too?
Linear and cyclic are the seasons of time like music arranged in a loop
but my life
stretches out before me
like a line
never to return
nor cyclically to repeat.
Now is the end of my summertime
autumn is about to begin.
But how would you know
autumn will surely come?
to be followed by winter?
Will autumn passed on without you?
and winter too?
Will you miss this colourful season?
with the trees shedding their leaves?
and
the woo-chill autumn breezes?
Or
Are the seasons a good mix…
about grace,
ageing,
of goodtime,
badtimes,
pain and suffering time? peaceful time and temperous time?
loving time and faithful time?
or a time when both love and faith are lost?
even the blackest time when light is hidden from me?
Then the seasons are rather uncertain,
not predictable.
You wonder will the season be relentless?
When will one season end that another will continue?
There is a life
sprouting at any seasons,
like life at springtime,
a life offered by Jesus.
a life to be journeyed inwardly.
a life that is touched by the truth of Jesus.
This life turns my suffering into love.
The darkness shall pass when the light of Jesus shall reveal the truth
The ugliness of the life shall be transformed into a beautiful reality.
the beauty need not necessarily be visible.
Sometimes it gives out its fragrance,
like the scent of a rose released, when its beauty is crushed.
The aging me shall be signalled by the adding grey hairs.
It also tells me the coming of the colourful autumn.
Suddenly,
I find my life a pilgrimage.
I am a pligrim.
Life, linear or cyclic, it is not endless.
There is a beginning. There is an end.
God begins it.
It ends in God
My created God has created all things beautiful with His beauty.
Above all, He created me.
God knows me.
My heart knows it.
Wonderfully I am made.
What have I brought out?
My self? true or false?
My achievement?
My self goal?
Have I missed the life sprouting of the spring time?
the liveliness of the summer?
the colourfulness of autumn? and the serenity of the winter of my life?
To know God in order to know me.
To find the me whom he has created.
Lead me to enter
the Truth of my life,
the Grace of my Lord, Jesus,
and the Joy of God’s creation.
Shaped me into ….
His Passion,
His contentment,
His love,
His beauty.
God has entered my life,
the seasons of life is about my life.
My pilgrimage towards God,
into God’s spiritual maturity,
into God’s sovereignty,
into His being,
to be His beloved daughter.
“You are the children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:5

Conviction ought to really develop all through our Christian lives. Truth be told, one indication of profound development is an expanded attention to our corruption. Useful Blogs, love it!
